One of the best ways to improve your writing is to join a critique group. Anyone who reads can critique.
To help those who do not belong to a critique group, we offer open critique sessions at various times throughout the year.
Current Critique Groups in the San Antonio/Hill Country Area:
Northwest SA
2nd Tuesdays, 7 - 8:30 pm.

Join us in September for our yearly CRITIQUENIC which we hold at a local park. We combine critiqueing with picnicing and it's a great casual combination.
We have had various critique groups form out of our critiquenics. You don't have to be in a group to come. Just bring something to critique and an open mind to improve your writing or your portfolio.
Even if you belong to a critique group, this is a good chance to get the fresh perspective of someone who hasn't read your work on a regular basis. So, it is a win-win situation for everyone.
Come and get to know some other writers and perhaps form a critique group of your own.
